Andersen Hankyu Umeda in Osaka

The place is great & has high end brands but we went on Jan. 2nd & it was SUPER crowded! They had sale in most of the shops, but very bad time if you like to shop without many ppl moving around u & having to push through just to get to the escalators or wait in long lines for cafes or the toilet or w/e..Also our Visa cards didn’t get accepted even though we used them in different places, we tried 3 different cards (buying for 1st floor) & still none of the cards worked so just put in mind that this could happen, there are ATMs very close though.

Love level 10 - a whole floor of arts, crafts and hobby supplies - beautiful yarn, embroidery thread, fabrics, jewellery making supplies, haberdashery, and paper.

Will have a good service. Not sure if everyone can speak English or not. But I think some people can speak English or Chinese. And be careful building are different between ladies and men. When it is busy season its super busy that you can look around slowly. You will be squash by everyone.

Very convenient place, the mall is located near the Osaka Station. There are other shopping malls nearby. The goods sold in each floor are clearly classified. You could spend a whole shopping day here.

The night view is wonderful, and the steak there is delicous. If you sit on the top floors and look outside, you will see this absolutely stunning view. I recommend you and your family to go to this restaurant.

Today, shopping and getting around was a breeze! Got me some steaks and Valentines Day cake for the mrs..

In the basement there's an eat-in space! Always crowded but perfect for taking a break and enjoying some of the deli food and alcohol.

Super cozy place to shop around.

The basement food levels are amazing. I didn’t even check anything else above ground.

Interesting offer of home decoration and other art/design work on upper floors. We did not visit the women section

The walk over the bridge is an absolute must, it links all the building around and provide a beautiful view for visitors to take some nice pictures.

The Heart of Umeda. It's not too cool if you're in a rush to get to work but, if you are just passing and shopping ... Have fun ... You'll have a good time

Fancy big store with many levels of different types of shopping. There is a big selection of Japanese cuisine at the top. Even if you make yourself just right outside there is like a whole section dedicated to small restaurants/small bite beers.

High end department store. Great to browse. Be ready to pay high $$$$$ for high end products.

Tourists be sure to ask for help to locate the item you need as the store is huge with a large assortment of goods. Recommend visiting the store.

Excellent mall. All major brands are in there. Check out their food areas too at basement levels.

I am not fancy enough to have been in this place. I gotta level up like 8 fancy levels to go back here again.

The location is excellent. It's right next to the airport shuttle station and in the middle of shopping center. However the hotel is quite old and the room is very small. Since we have experience of this hotel, we booked a bigger size room and it's reasonable size.

Kind of westernized shopping mall, not much value, but a lot of pretty girls

I am amazed with the building of Hankyu and the big entrance door to the department store. It was busy Sunday when the store is packed with people on the other hand service is still very friendly and helpful to the customer. I love this department store which is one of the best in the world.

It's right in the Hankyu Umeda subway station, huge hankyu building in Umeda. You can see almost everything in the department store and you also can take tax refund. I like ground 1st floor with grocery & desserts.

Good place to shop, especially the food sections at B1 & B2. Bring your passport to get a 5% discount coupon and free access to the store's wi-fi (apply at information counter).

When comes rain, we dont know waht to do, so just enjoy this place👌 worth to visit.✔I ordered bento here and enjoy my luch, the taste was awesome! And we enjoy the upper buliding, so can see the scenery of the street above🤗💕✔The atmosphere was great and comfy. Local people just sitting and take a rest here.✔The service was nice!

a men's department store! what more can I say?

Huge department store where you can purchase various items from a large selection of luxury brands, food, and living ware. We visited close to Valentines Day and they had a chocolate event going on. It was definitely fantastic to see that apart from everything else. They have excellent restaurants at the top as well. Easy to find and easy to spend a lot of time and money here. Gets incredibly busy during peak times which I’m not the biggest fan of.

large and usually crowded. its a transit station to be thankful for with a supermarket with takeaway food. it is clean and you'd have no problem locating toilets.

This place has an inpressive selection of wine. The employee that helped me out knew enough english words for wine that I was able to ask tasting information for the bottles that were only in Japanese. There was a large european selection that was organized by region.

The it is a very famous mall near Osaka station. B1 level here has a lot of food and dessert you can buy. Something you can also purchase and bring it back home with you such as snacks and chocolates.

Amazing Observatory to see the Osaka from above. I'll recommend on clear sky days to go on the sunset and see the transformation of the city from day to night ... watch my photos for reference
